I heard a woman say: "One thing I like about Noynoy is that he's always seen smiling ... Never frowning." Oh, well, not yet. Let's hope he can keep his smiling ways until after his 100 days in office.

It says here that on the appointment of a new city administrator, Tom O leaves the decision to Mike Rama. But of course! Rama should decide as Mayor.

All these talks about Mike Rama being his own man, that no one could make him a marionette, are making a lot of people insist they also have brains.

Teddy, my kumpadre, is mad at someone who sent him a newspaper clipping of an ad about an anti-aging cream. "I don't know if he's trying to help me or he's trying to pull my leg," says Ted who is now 80.

The Department of Health wants the manufacturers of herbal dietary supplements to declare in the product's label that said products is not medicine and cannot cure any ailment as claimed by the manufacturer. Naturally the manufacturers are up in arms against the DOH.

This DOH ruling will surely result in the downfall of the herbal industry unless something is done to prevent it. An observer said: "If herbal medicine is not doing our health any good, why is it that it's only now that it is being questioned?"
