MONEY IS EVIL? Readers reacted to The Ear article yesterday about politician brothers fighting over campaign funds. A reader commented that indeed, money is the root of all evil. He said, “Kaning kuwarta gikan gyud sa panuway. Makadaut gyud sa pamilya. Hinungdan sa away ug pagbuwag. Magsinumbagay na lang tungod sa kuwarta.”

MONEY AND POLITICS. Another reader who identified himself as a lay minister said that money and politics are both evil. He said that the two are a lethal combination and could lead to a downward spiral of a politician if greed is also in his heart. He said, “Dapat honest nga serbisyo ug dili kuwarta ang goal para modagan sa politika.”
