Battle of the coffins

FREE COFFIN. It has been the usual style of politicians to give different kinds of assistance to the voting public like basketball boards, cash assistance and even coffins. Both the city government and a businessman running for a seat in Congress are giving out coffins. But some residents said they prefer the coffin of the businessman.

MORE EXPENSIVE. A mediaman asked a resident, “Ngano mas ganahan man ka sa lungon ihatag niya?” The woman said, “Mas mahalon man ang iyang ihatag nga lungon unya libre pa. Wala na mi bayran.” She said that they refused the coffin offered by the city because they wanted to get the more expensive coffin offered by this businessman.
