Journalist lauds vice mayor's move to remove posters in illegal areas

POSTER PROBLEM. The Ear has heard several complaints from upset residents who said that they didn’t want to have the walls of their house pasted with campaign posters, but the supporters of the BOPK did it anyway. A reader said that he was on his way to work and caught some of them about to put up posters on his wall and warned them not to do so. After reading the news about the vice mayor’s advice to his fellow candidates to have these illegal posters removed, a female journalist of this paper said that she hopes the BOPK candidates will heed the vice mayor’s advice. The journalist who lives in Sitio Kamagong, Lahug was also a victim of these supporters who indiscriminately pasted campaign posters all over the walls of her house. She said, “Maayo ning gibuhat ni vice mayor. Aber, paaboton nako kung tumanon ba gyud na tang-tangon ning gipamilit nila.”
