Candidate for national post had pic taken for publicity

JEEPNEY-RIDING. A candidate for a national post (not the presidency) who was in Cebu recently rode in a passenger jeepney kapyut-style and had someone take his picture. After the picture was taken he got down and nearly fell. “Pang-publicity ra to,” someone was heard saying. “Pero hangtud ron wa pa man mogawas sa news.”

NO RELATIVES. A text message making the rounds says it’s better to vote for (name withheld) for President. “Way paryente nga mo-apil-apil o mangayo tabang niya kun naa na siya sa Malacañang kay tanan niyang paryente gi-away niya.”
