Reader: Political candidates should take lie detector test

WHO LIED? Readers have reacted to latest news reports of bribery among candidates. Sen. Dick Gordon, a candidate for the presidency, was the latest to accuse Sen. Manny Villar of bribery. Sen. Enrile earlier said that Sen. Villar tried to bribe him. Former president Estrada also revealed that another candidate tried to bribe him so he would withdraw from the presidential race, although he declined to name names. All these accusations have been denied by Senator Villar. One reader said, “Kinsa kaha ang namakak nila? Ang tulo nga namasangil o ang gipasanginlan?”

ELECTRIC SHOCK. Sen. Dick Gordon said he is willing to take the lie detector test and challenged Sen. Manny Villar to do the same to find out who is the liar. Another reader suggested that all the presidentiables should take the lie detector test, but he said that the lie detector machine should be added with a high voltage of electricity. He said, “Para ma-electric shock katong mamakak. Hehe!”
