Comelec gun ban order followed only by law abiding citizens

GOD FORBID. A son of a retired Philippine Constabulary officer, commenting on another incident involving the Talisay mayor’s adopted son, was heard telling friends in a hotel lobby: “God forbid nga dili ako ang buhatan ni Joavan sa iyang pagtion-tion og armas kay, na, malas lang nya siya.”

GUN BAN. “This gun ban order by the Comelec is followed only by educated and peaceful members of our society,” said a businesswoman. She added: “Alkanse tawon ang mga but-an nga lungsoranon kay at the mercy sila sa mga bugoy ug kriminal nga wa motahud sa Comelec order.”
