"Concerned Cebuano" takes to task the Ampatuans' dynasty

POLITICAL DYNASTY. Everyone is talking about the Ampatuans’ private armies, their being suspects in the Maguindanao massacre, their unexplained wealth, their cache of high-powered firearms, etc. But an Ear reader who wants to be known only as “Concerned Cebuano” wants to know: “Why is there no big talk about the Ampatuans’ political dynasty?” He stressed: “Kining political dynasty sa mga Ampatuan maoy gamut niining tanang pangabuso diha sa Maguindanao.”

SOLID DYNASTY. This “Concerned Cebuano” says the Ampatuans’ political dynasty is “so solid it has given every member the courage to do whatever he wanted.” But he says he’s happy that the martial law which everyone’s complaining about has cracked down on this “solid dynasty.”
