Unsmiling face was bad omen for Cotto, says lady doctor

BAD OMEN. A lady doctor who is a boxing fan said before the Manny Pacquiao-Miguel Cotto titular fight last Sunday (RP time) she was already convinced that Cotto could not win. “I have never seen him smile and that was a bad omen. On the other hand, Pacquiao was always seen smiling,” the doctor said. “Kon sugarol pa ko ug duna koy daghang kuwarta adto kon kini ibagdok kang Manny.”

FACIAL EXPRESSION. The same lady doctor said “the facial expression of a boxer before his schedule fight could foretell his fate in the contest.” She said: “Ako ning gitun-an sud sa daghang katuigan nga ako nahimong boxing fan.” The doctor happens to be the daughter of a boxing stable owner in a Western Visayan province.
