Anthem singing at Pacman's fight criticized once again

WRONG AGAIN. The trio of singers who sang the national anthem during the Pacquiao-Cotto fight had impressive voices. They were even better than the singer who sang the national anthem of Puerto Rico and the Fil-Am singer who sang the US national anthem. But the tempo of the singing of the Pambansang Awit, was again wrong, said a public school teacher. She said, “Nindot pagkakanta apan sayop gihapon. Ga self-styling na sab ang mga singers. Gapalabi ra sa ilang gibati.”

AIRPLANE ANTHEM. Another thing that the viewing public didn’t like was the showing of an airplane several times during the singing of the Pambansang Awit. A businessman who watched the boxing fight in a hotel was heard saying, “Unsa man na uy, Bayang Magiliw na o advertisement sa airline?”
