Gangs sleep inside cemetery; displaced during "Kalag-kalag"

SLEEP TRIP. An informer told The Ear that there are gangs that hang out and even sleep inside cemeteries. He said, “Anha sila sa minteryo magtambay. Anha man gani matulog. Tripping lang nila.” He said his neighbor’s 14-year-old daughter is involved in one of these gangs. “Naguol ang ginikanan kay dili na mo-uli sa ilaha. Adto na sa minteryo matulog kuyong sa gang.” The girl’s parents decided to send their daughter to their relatives in Negros.

DISPLACED GANG. But during All Saints Day and All Souls Day, these gangs were “displaced” from the cemeteries because the place became very busy with visiting families of the dead. The informer said, “Didto ra sila sa gawas sa minteryo. Ang uban, sa kilid sa dalan nagtambay kay samok man sa sulod sa minteryo.”
