Fireman delivers water for gov't official of Carmen

WATER PROBLEMS. A resident of Poblacion Carmen told The Ear that they have a serious water shortage in their area and only get water every other day. But a government official who lives near the municipal hall does not have the same problem. A firetruck goes to his house to deliver water for him. Last week, a neighbor approached the fireman who was hosing water from the firetruck into the government official’s container. She wanted to ask for just a pailful of water. But the fireman ignored her. She told the fireman, “Unsa man diay qualifications para makapangayo sab mi anang tubig?”

PICTURE, PICTURE. But the fireman continued to ignore her. In anger, she went back into the house, got her camera and took a picture of the fireman delivering water for this municipal official. When the fireman realized that his picture was taken, he said, “Ah, gusto ka’g tubig? Asa dapit inyo ma’am?” The irked woman said, “Ayaw nalang. Never mind.”
