This department store continues to shortchange customers

- The Ear -

FOR THE NTH TIME. The Ear has heard countless complaints about this department store along Colon St. who continues to shortchange customers. Yesterday, an Ear informer was again shortchanged for the nth time. She bought various items at the store’s supermarket. She gave the cashier P500 bill and was supposed to receive a change of P425.90 but was only given P425.75. She told The Ear, “Laliman ka, alkansi ko’g 15 centavos. Kung 1,000 ka tawo ang ilang ingon anaon, dako na kanang kuwartaha. Wala bay mahimo ang gobyerno ani?”

DUMANJUG MARKET. An informer is asking provincial authorities to check on the Dumanjug market, near the lotto outlet. Traffic in the area is heavy with the habal-habal drivers blocking the flow of traffic. The female informer said, “Pagka samok sa agi-anan. Naay mga motor nga mag-ali. Naa pay mga (habal-habal) drivers nga mga bastos.”
