"Which bank, sir?"

AT A PRESSCON. The media asked this city hall consultant for his reaction on the controversial Lahug school building. Lahug Barangay Captain Mary Ann de los Santos launched the “Piso Mo, Eskwelahan Mo” and Gov. Gwen Garcia donated P6.3 million for the completion of the school building after the mayor had the project stopped. This consultant told the media that the mayor was happy about it. He said, “The mayor went to the bank laughing.”

WHICH BANK? A reporter for another newspaper then asked the city hall consultant, “Which bank, sir?” After a significant pause, The FREEMAN reporter replied, “Expression ra na ma’am.” The consultant also said, “Yes, idiomatic expression ra na.” A mediaman was later heard saying, “Mangotana man sab unta ko unsang bangkoha. Maayo gani naunhan ko. Hehe!”
