Opinion

This restaurant is wary of Korean customers

- The Ear -

MISSING. After The Ear printed an incident where a shopper saw a Korean male shoplift a candybar from a supermarket, another Ear informer said that this restaurant in Banilad is wary of Korean customers. The informer said that on several occasions, various utensils like spoons, forks, knives and even salt and pepper shakers would be missing when Koreans would dine at the restaurant.

SOP. Because of this, the informer said that it has become standard operating procedure or SOP for this restaurant staff to always be on alert for missing utensils whenever they have Korean diners. The informer said, “Kung mabantayan nila nga mora’g manguha og butang, mag add-on sila sa bill para ma-cover sa possible missing items.”
