With the announcement of Alvin running for Cebu City mayor and Joseph Estrada saying he is ready to run for president, the political pot has started to boil. A group of businessmen were heard talking about it. One said, “Ayay, sugod na ka alegre ang politika.”

TIT FOR TAT. Another businessman predicted that mudslinging and character assassinations will be the usual route of most politicians this year. He said, “Maglinabayay na sad ni sila’g lapok. Isig binasulay, pointing accusing finger at rival camps. Pero angay lang nila hinumdoman nga inig point nimo sa imong kontra, ang upat nimo ka fingers are pointing back at you.”
