SABOTAGE! The press conference of an anti-communist crusader-turned-congressman yesterday was delayed after the entire region suffered a power blackout. While his staff did not know the scope of the power outage yet, they jokingly implied that the Communist forces the congressman is fighting against may have had a hand in sabotaging the power just to stall his press conference. “Ah, grabeha gyud. Tibuok rehiyon gyud ila pagngon just to stop one press conference?” an observer said.

NO TRAFFIC LIGHTS BETTER? An Ear source said that while traffic in some areas gridlocked due to the loss of power, some areas of the city appeared to be hassle-free even without traffic lights. Some intersections that would have been busy with traffic when the traffic lights are used were kept clear by the smooth flow of vehicles, each minding when it was his or her right of way. One driver are actually speculating if traffic would flow better without traffic lights, but others dismissed the idea outright saying if the power outage had happened at a weekday the traffic congestion throughout the city would be a nightmare.
