Senior citizen had to beg jeepney driver for his fare discount

NO DISCOUNT. A senior citizen in his early 80’s got onboard a jeepney with a 13C route marker last Sunday afternoon along Sikatuna St. He gave the driver P10. He was given a change of P3. He told the driver, “Dong, kuwang man ni imong sukli. Tag P5 ra man ang plite namong tiguwang.” The driver told him, “Walay discount ron kay wala pa ko kakuha sa akong abang.”

PITY THE SENIOR CITIZENS. The old man pleaded with the driver to give him the additional P2 change as he only has P10 with him. He said, “Dong, sukli-i ko’g P2 intawon. P3 ra man ni imong gihatag. Kuwang na ning plite nako pabalik.” After a few minutes the driver gave back the additional P2. An Ear informer saw this and said, “Nihatag tuod og discount, pero gamug-ot ang dagway sa drayber. Swapang. Luoy kaayong tiguwang. Kung wala pa to nihatag sa discount, kalami na man gyud duklon ang drayber.”
