Who's next in line?

The 2010 elections is fast approaching. Candidates are already making themselves visible to the public through advertisements both in television and print ads. However, this is vital, for our current president is in her last term.

This coming elections, the youth are going to exercise their rights of suffrage. And we say, this is not easy as it looks, for it is with our votes that the fate of our beloved country rests.

The youth of our nation are to empower a person that generally defines a leader; a leader by faith, firm will, and a supressor of corruptibility and mass ignorance. We're definitely looking forward to elect someone far more generous, humane, and simple than that of our late President Ramon Magsaysay, who fought for those so-called little men of his ungrateful time, the time of good will against unspeakable truth of greed for power. Despite all of these Magsaysay remained simple and down to earth. And let us not also forget the heroism and solid rock will of our beloved Ninoy Aquino, dubbed as the Senate's wonder boy. He fought with all of his strength in myriad ways to bedevil the Marco's regime, chipping away its monolithic facade.

Our country is at the center of nationwide crisis and sad to say we're not that near enough to attain world reconciliation and development. That's why we need somone to lead and guide us towards this promised land, for that leader who's stronger, firmer and better.
