Families should save money sent to them by OFWs

SO TRUE. A reader reacted to the letter printed in the column of Bobit Avila emailed from Japan by Fr. Jack Serate. She said that she appreciates what the priest said, as her mother is an OFW working in Dubai. She said she has friends whose parents also work abroad but do not appreciate the money sent to them by their parents. She said many families of OFWs spend their money like there is no tomorrow.

Kasagaran, mahurot na ilang kuwarta, layo pa ang next remittance.”She advices families to save the money sent by OFWs as she said, “You’ll never know kung kanus-a ra ang trabaho sa ilang pamilya abroad. Basin kalit lang sila mawagtangan og trabaho. Unya kay waldas kaayo sila, wala nay savings.”
