Why did these Sto. Niño vendors have phone lines, electricity in stalls?

- The Ear -

DISCOVERED DURING DEMOLITION. The Ear heard a policeman question the presence of telephone lines and electricity in the stalls of the Sto. Niño vendors during the demolition done yesterday along D. Jakosalem St. He was heard saying, “Illegal structures man unta ning mga stalls diri.

Ngano gisugtan man nga matauran og phone lines ug electricity?” He jokingly added, “Basin nakakuha sab ni silag building permit sa OBO ha?”

SOMETHING FISHY. The mediaman who heard the policeman’s comment answered, “Ay sir, kabalo na ka. Makaduda man gani ta nga bisan dugay na kaayo ning demolition order ni mayor, karon ra napatuman ang pagpangguba aning mga stalls diri.”
