Driver kills man then pretends he did not notice anything

HIT AND RUN.  A traffic enforcer once told an Ear source about one of the most bizarre cases he had ever encountered.  One time a speeding driver of a southbound mini-bus hit a man on a motorcycle so hard the motorcycle driver was killed instantly due to head injuries and one of his arms was ripped off.  But instead of stopping, the mini-bus driver reportedly kept on going, his passengers later said he ignored or pretended not to notice that there was no blood on the windshield which was also cracked due to the impact of the collision.

STUPID MOVE.  Later when he had been apprehended, the mini-bus driver claimed he never noticed hitting anyone or the cracked glass on his bloodied windshield.  But his passengers were quick to say the driver noticed the collision and kept on driving anyway.  When they asked him to stop he ignored them and kept driving, pretending not to hear them when they pointed out the blood on the cracked glass.  The passengers also claimed the driver did not go through the usual route but took the side routes and shortcuts to their destination, possibly to avoid the police. The driver was convicted and sentenced to many years in jail.
