More on begging streetkids

- The Ear -

ON ANOTHER INTERSECTION. A reader told The Ear that he, too, has observed streetkids begging along major intersections with an adult “supervising” them which, he said, looked very suspicious. He said, “Dili lang diha sa intersection sa M. Cuenco ug Gen. Maxilom Ave.

SUSPICIOUS BEGGARS. He said that he would see small, pitiful children as young as seven or eight years old, knocking and scratching on the windshields of private cars and taxi, begging for coins, but not for food. He said, “Ang pangayuon kuwarta, dili ganahan og pagkaon.
