I heard many people complain that the City Council is composed of rubber stamps. Well, put in Lahug Brgy. Capt. Mary Ann de los

Should Mary Ann win the ABC contest and become ex-officio member of the City Council, one thing is sure: She’ll never be a “yes man” because, well, she’s a woman. Hehehe.

Mrs. Henrietta Dedios (or De Dios?) called up to comment on Ferdinand Edralin’s photo on page one of this paper last Tuesday. She said: “The photo symbolized two things: The will to acquire an education despite hardship and the will of siblings to help each other in acquiring that education.”

The photo, to recall, showed a boy carrying his younger sister on his back as they cross a river on their way to school. Congratulations to Ferdie Edralin for winning a praise for his photo. Keep on shooting more praiseworthy photos, Ferdie.
