MADE IN CHINA. The Ear heard many shoppers, mostly mothers who expressed concern over the availability of products made in China found inside supermarkets and sari-sari stores. One mother was heard saying, “Daghan pa kaayong mga produkto sa tindahan nga made in China, apil na katong ilang gipang lista nga milk candies ug canned goods nga gisuspetsahan nga naay makahilong kemikal.”
ATTENTION BFAD. Another mother wants to know what the government agencies, most especially the Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD), are doing about the proliferation of formaldehyde-tainted products still found in the market. She said, “Nagpagawas lang sila og listahan pero wala man lagi nila gipanangtang ning mga produktoha sa mga tindahan. Makita pa sila sa nagka lain-laing tindahan. Hoy BFAD, unsa man ni?”
