Noise pollution in the city

NOISY MOTORCYCLES. A medical doctor specializing in psychiatry has observed that noise pollution has become alarming with the increasing number of motorcycles in the city. “While there are motorbike owners who try to minimize the noise coming from their bikes’ engines, there are many who make the noise from the engines even louder’’  the doctor told The Ear. “Aron ba maka-attract og atensiyon,” she said shaking her head.

INCONSIDERATE NEIGHBORS. The same doctor also complained about some of her young neighbors in their so-called high-end subdivision who own motorcycles, “Mouli na silag gabii na kaayo unya magsigig bosina nga ablihan sa katabang ang gate,” she said. “And while waiting for the gate to be opened, they would keep on revving up the bikes’ engine.” She said many neighbors are complaining “silently” because these boys are sons of “powerful people.”
