My friend Undo says the nuns were only trying to find out what's in the slot machine that draws countless people to it only to lose money.

A Caucasian tourist was reported to have wondered why there are security guards in our churches. Well, they're more presentable than bouncers.

That tourist apparently didn't know that many saints in our churches have been robbed of their jewelry and some have even been decapitated.

The PNP doesn't ban gays from its ranks. A fellow newsman says: "I have not met any bading in our police force but I know of some cops who are suspects. They are those with well manicured fingernails."

I was reading yesterday's the Streesmart feature (conducted by Garry Lao and Paul Rosaroso) and was shocked to find out that none of the three interviewees could answer correctly the question, "What is the capital of Negros Occidental?" A guest service manager answered: "Wala ko kahibalo." An assistant cook said: "Bais City." And a waiter replied: "Negros City gihapon." They never heard of Bacolod City!
