REMINDER TO ACTORS. The three movie actors running for senator are faring very poorly in the surveys by both the Social Weather Stations and Pulse Asia. Richard Gomez and Cesar Montano, both popular actors, and Victor Wood, a retired actor, are not even mentioned in the surveys. "This means that the voters are getting more intelligent. And this means movie actors' days in politics are numbered," a college instructor said.
WHOM TO BLAME. A farm products trader blames the poor showing of Richard Gomez and Cesar Montano in the surveys on their fellow actors who were elected to the Senate in 2004 but did nothing appreciable during their term. "Gigamit na ron sa mga botante ang ilang utok sa ilang pagpili og kandidato," the above-mentioned college instructor told The Ear. "Ang papogi-pogi di na moandar sa atong mga botante. Naleksyon na sila."
