(This column, March 7/07) Sam said: With all due respect to de la Serna, I say his idea is both weird and impractical. Dividing Cebu into two or three provinces would only halt the province's growth and development. The move would also confuse the people..."

Text scams sent in by some people trying to make suckers out of other people continue to find their way in the cellphones. The other day I got this text message: "D'auditors of GMA Charity Foundation inform (sic) you that your celfone nos (sic) won P950,000 2nd prize winner draw (sic) last 03-7-2007 pls call me now, Mrs. Lelibeth Sanchez." Wow, big deal. But I'm disgusted. Ang uban diha tag P1 million ang nadaug, ako P950T ra. Bad!
