Triple whammy!

I think GMA should fire her executive staff who do not brief her properly before each speaking engagement or she should start changing her ways. Her protocol officers are very strict and seem to be in control of her every move but they fail to do the most important part of their job which is to brief the President. Although, one can speculate that it may also be the President’s fault for not listening to her staff or not giving them a chance to do their job.
I hate to rub it in but this is not the first time the President has had to humble herself before an audience to say the least. It has happened on several major occasions before. I know that people make mistakes  we all do but not that often. Also, before giving a speech we study our audience and think of what we want to say. We just do not open our mouths and assume the unknown.
The President is the highest figure of the land. She cannot afford to make mistakes. People listen to her and believe her every breadth and word. She should not be careless. Whenever she stumbles I mean fumbles, she becomes a laughing stock. What an embarrassment!
The problem with GMA is that she believes that all her commands are followed to the tee. Think again Mrs. President and get your own people to check that instructions and projects are implemented well. Being on the very top and having too many concerns makes it all the more difficult to check if things are being done on the bottom  but even so, that still has to be checked. For instance, last week she was talking about the P1,000 salary increase of the government employees in her Women’s Day speech. To her horror, the audience claimed that they never got any increase. She thought that her audience had already been receiving the benefit only to find out that they have not. Oh no! You probably can figure out what happened next. Bottom line, it was not a good scene at all. What a liability to her being!
Luli, the President’s daughter must now come in to the rescue as she always does.
We know very well who is behind the Alan Peter Cayetano plot to finish his political career  don’t we? How foolish it is of Abalos, the COMELEC Chairperson to allow such a nasty and actually ridiculous scam. I guess he is scared of losing his job ha? The saddest part of this saga is how KBL is claiming that candidate Joselito Cayetano belongs to their party. How pathetic. I am pretty sure the Marcoses are not a part of this game – they are not that stupid or desperate. Only those who are KSP or kulang sa pansin would allow themselves to be used in such a zarzuela.
It was a good move for Representative Cayetano to go and visit the roots of his namesake  to see for himself the real macoy. To his amazement, I bet he had quite a good sigh of relief upon meeting the family and knowing the true background of Joselito.
As for the poor man, Joselito who knows nothing of this at all, go ahead and play the game  what else can you do? You need the money and you are already a captive. We will pray for you.
Can you imagine how Joselito’s family in Davao claims that he went to Manila to find a job? His mother was shocked to find out that her son who had simple dreams of earning more than P200 a day would one day run for the senatorial races  against Pangilinan, Recto, Sotto, Villar, Legarda, etc. This is not a funny joke anymore. It is a cheap and bogus act. Don’t we just feel sorry for the mastermind?
As for Chavit Singson who flaunts his richness without being discreet about it – shame on you for using the entablado to give cash prizes. Everyone knows the rules especially in an election (although candidates buy votes discreetly) that giving money to people is foul play. Manong Chavit with money you can buy position but not respect.
