GENSAN BOMBING. The delegates to the 12th Asean Summit now in progress in Cebu need not worry about the bombing in General Santos City in Mindanao. That city is far away from Cebu and is separated by a wide sea. But would you believe that a newspaper publisher in Cebu once had a police general friend in an Asean Country who, upon arriving in Manila one night, called him up and said: "I just arrived in Manila, let's have some beer. Come take the first bus to Manila ...I'll wait at the hotel lobby."
POOR IN GEOGRAPHY. The newspaper publisher said to some work-mates: "Nagdahum tingali tong amigo kong police general sa (country's name withheld) nga nagtapot ra ang Cebu ug Manila. Klarong na hagbong to siya sa geography subject sa school."
