Mediaman's first working day greeted with text scam

OH REALLY? A mediaman received the following text: "Congratulations! Your cell # had won 1 Million and a brand new car in ABS-CBN dti-ncr permit # 3306.2007. Call me now! Henry Lopez Jr. 09193295608." This was sent January 2, 2007. He didn't believe the modus operandi of this texter for a second so he texted back: "Bullsh*t!" He later told The Ear, "Ilaron man sad intawon ta niya uy."

PUBLIC BEWARE. The mediaman said he wanted this known to the public, especially the cell number of the texter so that the public will be aware that this text message is a scam, and not to fall into a trap.
