CONDUCT UNBECOMING. A group of student nurses who were about to take their licensure examinations were seen at the Basilica del Sto. Niño last night. They were seen shouting, laughing out loud and pushing at the crowd on their way out of the Basilica. Their unruly behavior caught the attention of a US-bound nurse who reprimanded them. She was heard telling the student nurses, "Hoy, ga ki-at lang agi ninyo da. Mag nurse man kaha mo then start acting like nurses. You won't be respected by other people with your uncivilized behavior."
BEHAVE OR ELSE. Upon hearing the nurse's reprimand, one male student nurse told the still shrieking girls, "Pagpuyo na mo uy. Kasab-an na sab ta ani."
OVERHEARD. The US-bound nurse was later heard telling her friend, "Kaning klaseng nurses ang mangandoy og adto abroad? Magpakauwaw lang unya ni sila sa ubang Pinoy nurses. Personality development should be one of the key subjects of nursing if we are to export nurses abroad."
