Taxi drivers say some cabbies also act as pimps

CABBIE PIMPS. After The Ear heard about taxi drivers who admitted to giving "sex tours" to foreigners, another taxi driver confessed that some of them even act as bugaw or pimps for their passengers. This cabbie said, "Usahay ma'am kay kami gyud mismo ang mokuha sa mga babaye gikan sa ilang balay."

CABBIES VS. PIMPS. However, this practice of taxi drivers who personally fetch the prostitutes from their houses or "casa" is frowned upon by the "legit" pimps. He said that pimps wouldn't get their cut since these cab drivers would directly approach the prostitutes. This cabbie revealed, "Maglagot lang nang mga bugaw namo kung kami ang mo-sundo sa mga babaye kay mawagtangan sila'g kita. Kami na man ang nahu'ug nga mobugaw sa mga babaye."

GOOD PAY. When asked if their clients pay them good money, the cabbie said, "Aw dako gyud. Mas dako pa kay sa among kita kung magdrayb lang mi. Ilabi na kung foreigner ang mo abang og babaye."
