Now is the time for mercy

PERSPECTIVE - Cherry Piquero Ballescas -
It was just the third time for us to meet but each meeting has always been a joyous occasion. As I have written about the two previous encounters with him, meeting Brother Stanley Villavicencio feels like one is meeting the Lord of the Divine Mercy up, close and personal.

For Brother Stanley himself has experienced and continues to experience meeting the Lord even up to this day. As he personally continues to witness in his talk to several audiences not only in the Philippines but all throughout the world (he counted 5,732 testimonial visits all throughout as of his visit to Antipolo last Sunday!), he experienced meeting and talking to the Lord since that one special day in March of 1993.

That was March 2, when his family rushed him to Chong Hua Hospital after they found him bleeding from his mouth and comatose in his room. At the hospital, only life supports were keeping him alive that his family refused to be removed from him even if the doctors had already informed them that he was already clinically dead.

While his physical body seemed to have already been pronounced dead, he saw himself drawn by a very bright light and then meeting and talking to someone who resembled the Lord of the Divine Mercy. (Brother Stanley should directly be the person to tell you all this beautiful experience himself as he narrates this joyous meeting very vividly and beautifully).

The Lord showed him his previous life. Where he committed good acts, Brother Stanley said he felt very light. When, however, he was shown his sinful deeds, he experienced this very heavy feeling. Then, the Lord told Brother Stanley to go back to the world to testify to all about God's Divine Mercy, that God loves all and is ready to forgive all.

Now is the time of mercy. This is the Lord's recent message, Brother Stanley informed me when I asked him what the Lord told him in their last conversation. The Lord told Brother Stanley He will communicate with him in his dreams and He continues to do so until now.

That is the message that He keeps on repeating, then and up to now, Brother Stanley informed us in Bisaya. Please inform all about this message from the Lord: Now is the time of Mercy. Now, not later. Today, not tomorrow.

God can forgive all people while still alive and able to trust Him fully and able to ask for His mercy. God renders mercy before death. God renders justice after life, Brother Stanley emphasized to all his listeners gathered at the Assumption chapel in Antipolo last Sunday. He graciously added this visit ( he had 2 more after Assumption) upon the invitation of the propagators of the Divine Mercy at Antipolo, coordinated by Ms. Lenn Goyeneche and Ms. Ann Hilario of Assumption assisted by friends, the Marquez and Roxas families who are based in Manila.

If you have to settle matters with your family, with people around you, do not wait till tomorrow, Brother Stanley continued. "Tomorrow never comes for when tomorrow comes, that is today. Please inform all that now, today is the time of mercy," Brother Stanley said as he heard the Lord repeat this very important message to him on several occasions, including during their most recent conversation.

No matter how serious, no matter how often, no matter how frequent all of us sin, the Lord, in His mercy and love, is always ready to forgive us. Please repeat this message to all now. God's mercy is immeasurable and always available for all.

Please relay God's message through Brother Stanley to all - your family, your friends, your neighbors, your co-workers. Now is the time of Mercy, says the Lord. Not Tomorrow, but today. Now.
