NO JAYWALKERS THEY? A student who had been nabbed for jaywalking by a Citom traffic enforcer, asked The Ear in a phone call: "Wa ba maka-violate sa anti-jaywalking ordinance ang mga cigarette vendor ug passenger dispatcher nga nagtabok-tabok diha sa Colon?" He said when he was collared (literally) by the traffic enforcer, there was a cigarette vendor and a PUJ dispatcher crossing and re-crossing the street where he was arrested. "Gipasagdan ra sila ... wa ba silay saa nga nahimo?" the student asked.
ABUSIVE LANGUAGE. A former GRO who lived-in with a foreigner (from an Asian country) has decided to split up with her lover. "Grabeng abusado," she said. He never laid his hand on her but the girl said: "Wa ko ganahi sa iyang mga mangil-ad nga gipanulti parte natong Pilipino. Sakitan ko." She said she once told the guy that if us Pinoys are bad "why are you here earning a living to feed your family back home?" Well put, girl!
