INFANTA, Quezon, Philippines — To promote the welfare and well-being of persons with disability (PWDs), the municipal government of Infanta launched this week the Disability Expo 2026.

The event, held on July 15 and 16 at the Northern Quezon Auditorium in Barangay Comon, brought together government agencies, private organizations, healthcare providers, advocates and volunteers.

The expo, which carried the theme “Promoting Inclusion, Accessibility and Equal Opportunities for All,” was described as a significant step toward expanding opportunities and ensuring access to services for the PWD sector.

The launch was led by Mayor Lord Arnel Ruanto, municipal PWD affairs officer Liezl Pilotin and Gerry Nuyda, president of the Federation of Persons With Disability.

The expo, organized under the town’s Lingap Agad Program, was a one-stop venue for healthcare, legal assistance and livelihood information aimed at empowering PWDs.
