6 hurt in EDSA-Quezon Avenue tunnel crash

MANILA, Philippines —  Six people, including a police officer, were injured in a four-vehicle collision along the EDSA-Quezon Avenue tunnel in Quezon City yesterday.

Police said a bus hit a UV Express van along the tunnel in Barangay South Triangle at around 5:40 a.m.

The van hit another UV Express Van and a motorcycle, according to probers.

Police said the vehicles came from Manila and were headed to the Quezon Memorial Circle.

The victims were rushed by rescuers to different hospitals for treatment.

The bus driver was brought to the police station for investigation.

Personnel of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority removed the vehicles from the crash site.
