CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — A woman who was reportedly kidnapped along with her Chinese employer’s girlfriend was rescued by the police in Amadeo, Cavite on Sunday night.

The woman, identified only as Jesan, 40, was rescued at a gasoline station in Barangay Banay-Banay at around 8 p.m., according to Maj. Gilbert Derla, Amadeo police chief.

Jesan told police that she and her employer’s girlfriend, identified only as Ken, met up with four Chinese men in a hotel in Barangay Poblacion in Makati on Sunday afternoon.

She said Ken, who is also Chinese, leases condominium units and the four Chinese were reportedly her clients.

Jesan said the four Chinese instructed them to go to a waiting vehicle that sped away as soon as the two women got in.

She said that upon reaching Bacoor, Ken was transferred to another vehicle. The kidnappers later dropped off Jesan at the gasoline station.

Jesan said the kidnappers did not take her cell phone so she called her employer, who sought the help of the Tagaytay police.
