4 vendors reported missing in Pampanga

SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga, Philippines — Four vendors from Masantol town in this province have been reported missing after they sailed to Palawan two weeks ago.

Russell Manansala, 29; Albert Mendoza, 42; Raven Punla, 29, and John Loyd Turla, 21, were last seen on Sept. 10 on board a small boat going to Balabac Island.

The men have been peddling household items across islands and regularly return to Masantol, according to their neighbor Alicia Manansala.

Punla’s sibling traveled to Palawan to seek assistance from local authorities, who tried but failed to find the vendors or their boat.

Manansala asked the public to contact the authorities if any information is obtained about the missing vendors.
