Quezon City bettor greets 2025 as lotto millionaire

MANILA, Philippines — A bettor in Quezon City welcomed the New Year as a millionaire after winning the P57-million jackpot in the Mega Lotto 6/45 on Wednesday night.

Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office general manager Melquiades Robles said the bettor guessed the winning combination 06-41-29-12-02-15, which had a total prize of P57,030,072.20.

“The bettor is the first lotto jackpot winner for 2025,” Robles said.

Thirteen bettors guessed five digits of the winning combination. Each of them will receive P32,000.

Lotto winnings are subject to a 20-percent tax under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law.
