SC shortens work in all courts for Family Week

The early dismissal is in line with Proclamation 60, which declares the last week of September as Family Week, and Proclamation 326, which designates the fourth Monday of September each year as the “Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga” Day.

MANILA, Philippines — The Supreme Court has shortened work hours in all courts nationwide starting at 3 p.m. on Monday for the observance of the Family Week celebrations.

The early dismissal is in line with Proclamation 60, which declares the last week of September as Family Week, and Proclamation 326, which designates the fourth Monday of September each year as the “Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga” Day.

President Marcos, in Memorandum Circular 64, called for support for programs and activities related to the 32nd National Family Week as organized by the National Committee on the Filipino Family.

The work suspension is meant to highlight the significance of family in Filipino culture, promoting a balanced approach between professional responsibilities and familial relationships.
