Drug suspect slain in Koronadal

COTABATO CITY, Philippines — A drug suspect was killed in a sting in Koronadal City on Friday.

Jeffrey Pudadera, 45, drew his gun when he sensed he had sold shabu to undercover agents in Purok Rizal in Barangay Zone 4, Aileen Lovitos, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Soccsksargen director, told reporters yesterday.

PDEA agents said shabu worth P105,000 and a 9mm pistol were recovered from the fatality.

In Bacolod, Carl Earvin John Ponce, 19, was arrested for alleged possession of shabu valued at P1.02 million.

Ponce’s alleged cohort Jerry del Prado managed to escape.
