MALOLOS, Philippines — Two suspected gunrunners were killed in an alleged shootout with police officers in an entrapment in Pandi, Bulacan on Wednesday night.
Col. Lawrence Cajipe, Bulacan police director, said Wilfredo Togonon and Michael Pegaro drew their guns when they sensed they had sold guns to undercover agents in Barangay Bagong Barrio at around 9:15 p.m.
Meanwhile, two persons were killed in gun attacks in Cavite and Rizal yesterday.
Eric Canaynay was walking in Barangay Anabu-2F in Imus City when he was shot at close range.
Police said Vincent Adia was shot in Barangay San Isidro, Angono.
