Teacher held for quarantine breach

TUGUEGARAO, Cagayan, Philippines — A 44-year-old public school teacher was arrested along with six others for allegedly violating the enhanced community quarantine in Lal-lo, Cagayan on Sunday.

Jermaine Rosales and his group were reportedly caught having a drinking spree in front of his house in Barangay Centro at past 7 p.m.

Aside from Rosales, police arrested Jeffrey Soriano, 38; Renard Rosales, 45; Wilson Rosales, 54; Aron Argonza, 38; Froiland Baquiran, 42, and Romeo Narag, 46.

Police seized from the group three bottles of liquor and shot glasses.
