Go vows to protect judges
TAGAYTAY, Philippines — Christopher “Bong” Go has lauded the role that judges play in the society even as he vowed to promote their welfare to ensure their efficiency in the delivery of justice.
“I am here to support the Philippine Judges Association. It will give me the opportunity to learn about pressing issues so their welfare can be improved,” Go told reporters on the sidelines of the PJA’s midterm convention.
He said he would look into various proposals to promote the welfare of judges as he acknowledged that their function is one of the pillars that support democracy.
Go also vowed to extend assistance to the people and continue to serve as President Duterte’s bridge to the public.
He also lauded Tagaytay City for being part of President Duterte’s campaign against illegal drugs.
“I am happy Tagaytay City has been declared as an area that is deemed drug-free,” Go said.
He said one of his advocacies is the expansion of Malasakit centers.
