Pangasinan to have 10-hour blackout

MANGALDAN, Pangasinan, Philippines – This town will experience a 10-hour power outage on Friday due to the repair of a power transformer, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines announced yesterday.

The blackout will be from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. to pave the way for the repair and testing of the 5-megaVolt transformer at Mangaldan load-end substation.

Power consumers were advised to prepare for the power outage.
