MANILA, Philippines - Fire razed a part of the Quezon City Central Post Office before dawn Thursday.
No one was hurt during the blaze which destroyed the records section of the building along NIA Road.
Initial report said that the fire started around 5:30 a.m at the records section on the second floor.
Firefighters managed to put out the blaze 30 minutes later before flames could reach the ground floor.
Arson investigators suspected that one of the sockets on the second floor short circuited which caused the fire.
