Technician wins P77-M lotto pot

MANILA, Philippines - A 40-year-old computer technician from Ormoc City in Leyte won the P77-million jackpot of the 6/49 Super Lotto Sept. 29 draw.

Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office general manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas quoted the winner as saying that he was testing the Internet connection of a newly repaired computer when he learned about his winning the lotto.

The technician, who is married but childless, got the six-digit winning combination of 1-19-31-36-44-46 with a jackpot of P77,146,990.

The winner, who has been a lotto bettor for 10 years, plans to invest his winnings in the computer business, buy a house and lot, and share this with relatives.
