VIGAN CITY, Philippines – The body of a suspected rape victim was found in Ilocos Sur town yesterday.
Police said Norma Talawan, 23, a resident of Barangay Malaya in Cervantes town, went out to gather vegetables in the family farm but did not return home.
Investigators said that apart from the stab wounds, the victim’s underwear was pulled down to her legs.
